CTU'S ONLINE MBA RANKED AMONG CEO MAGAZINE'S BEST
CEO Magazine has ranked CTU’s online MBA program upon its Global Online MBA Rankings list for the fifth time! The universities and their MBA programs are evaluated on weighted factors such as quality of faculty, diversity, class size, professional development, and more. CEO Magazine aims to provide degree-seekers with an objective, data-backed evaluation. The rankings include schools from the UK, North America, South America, Spain, and Australia.
CTU has been recognized four other times: in 2023, in 2022 as a Tier One Global MBA Program, in 2020 as a Tier One Global MBA and Tier One Global Online MBA Program, and in 2017 as a Tier One North American MBA School and Top Ten Global Online MBA School.

CTU has been named among the Military Times “Best for Vets: Colleges 2023” for online and nontraditional schools. Military Times conducts this objective, editorially independent study each year to evaluate the many factors that help make colleges and universities a good fit for service members, military veterans, and their families. This is the 8th time CTU has appeared on this list.

CTU Renewed Recognition as a Purple Heart University by MOPH in 2022
The Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) renewed it’s recognition of Colorado Technical University in 2022 as a Purple Heart University. CTU is recognized for its support of military members, veterans, their families, and the community. The Purple Heart is considered the “Badge of Military Merit.” The Purple Heart University recognition is a testament to CTU’s work in creating and maintaining a higher education institution, supportive and accessible for all military members, both during and after service.
EDUVENTURES 2022 INNOVATION AWARD WINNER
Eduventures named Colorado Technical University™ a 2022 Innovation Award winner. This year’s Innovation Award’s theme was “Leading Through Difficult Times. Eduventures recognized CTU for its messaging solution, CTU Messenger, which identifies and addresses student needs through the student and faculty mobile applications and the Learning Management System. Other winners include Florida Atlantic University, University of Arizona, and Washington & Jefferson College. Source.

CTU has been named among the Military Times “Best for Vets: Colleges 2021” which is the largest and most comprehensive rankings of schools for military service members and veterans. For ten years, Military Times has conducted an editorially independent, objective study evaluating the many factors that help make colleges and universities a good fit for service members, military veterans and their families. This year’s survey was a streamlined and improved version.
2021 WOW Award Recipient
Colorado Technical University received the WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) Award for the fourth time, with this year’s theme of Digital Learning Heroes. This award recognizes the outstanding efforts by member institutions and organizations in applying innovative solutions to a challenging educational need. CTU received this award for our mobile app and the use of messenger which allowed us to identify students who may be experiencing issues related to the pandemic and reach out proactively to provide assistance where needed. 2019 ASSESSMENT AND IMPACT AWARD FOR NURSING EDUCATION
CTU was recognized by Skyfactor Benchworks, a Macmillan Learning Company, as one of the first recipients of the Assessment and Impact Award for Nursing Education. The award was created to highlight schools of nursing that are successfully using data to improve their programs, helping to retain students and developing more practice-ready nursing professionals. CTU designated a Purple Heart University by MOPH

CTU NAMED AMONG MILITARY TIMES BEST: COLLEGES 2018
CTU was named among the Military Times Best: Colleges 2018 rankings. Military Times’ annual survey is the most comprehensive school-by-school assessment of veteran and military student services and rates of academic-achievement.
2018 WOW Award Recipient
Colorado Technical University received a 2018 WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) Award for the CTU Faculty Mobile app. This is the second WOW Award the University has received for a mobile app, the first being in 2016 for the student-centered CTU Mobile app. The WOW award further solidifies and affirms the University's goal to provide industry-relevant higher education to a diverse student population through innovative technology and experienced faculty. CTU'S Online Mba Ranked Top Tier Globally
CEO Magazine has been showcasing business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. The magazine added its annual Global MBA Rankings in 2012. In 2017, Colorado Technical University received Tier One North American MBA School and Top Ten Global Online MBA School rankings. Schools are assessed using a fact-based criteria based upon key, weighted data points such as quality of faculty, accreditation, faculty to student ratio, professional development and more. The rankings include schools from Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China).
Council Of College And Military Educators (CCME) Institution Award
In 2017 and 2008, CTU received the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) Institution Award. This award is presented to an organization in recognition of its quality education programs to military and veteran students and their family members as well as the significant contributions to the cause of military education.
Top Military Friendly University
For 10 years (2007-2017), Military Advanced Education recognized CTU in its Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities as one of the top universities serving the educational needs of the Armed Forces.

Colorado Technical University is a 2016 WOW award recipient for CTU Mobile. The WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) presents the WCET Outstanding Work (WOW) award to colleges, universities, and organizations who are implementing innovative and effective, technology-based solutions in higher education. Eduventures 2016 Innovation Award Winner
Eduventures named Colorado Technical University™ a 2016 Innovation Award winner. Eduventures recognized CTU for its mobile app, CTU Mobile, and creative use of technology in developing programming designed to improve student outcomes. Other winners include Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado–Boulder, Oral Roberts University, Oregon State University, the University of South Florida, and Western Governors University.

CTU Mobile by Colorado Technical University is a 2016 International E-Learning Award (IELA) winner for mobile learning: academic division. The IELA is an international organization that recognizes innovation in e-learning initiatives in the higher education and business industries.

The IMS Global Learning Consortium, (IMS Global/IMS) the world leader in EdTech interoperability and innovation, recognized CTU as a 2016 Gold Medal winner for its Virtual Classroom technology.

2015 Distance Education Innovation Award
The National University Technology Network (NUTN), which acknowledges innovative programs or practices that contribute to the field of distance education, awarded Colorado Technical University the 2015 Distance Education Innovation Award. The award distinguishes CTU’s adaptive learning platform, intellipath®, which provides an innovative, personalized learning plan for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) students.

2015 ITC Award
CTU’s Online Degree Programs received the 2015 Award for Outstanding eLearning Program from the Instructional Technology Council (ITC) as a result of our leadership and innovation the areas of instruction, course/degree development, faculty support, and professional development.

2015 Effective Practice Award
The Online Learning Consortium selected Colorado Technical University to receive the 2015 Effective Practice Award. The research paper on using technology to improve performance in college algebra was selected as one of only nine recipients from hundreds of peer-reviewed submissions related to the study of effective educational practices.

Elearning!
